I need to get a digital cam

I've been selling books over at half.com for the longest time, and while I've recently gotten into buying some ebay stuff, I really need to get a digital camera if I'm seriously going to sell some of my star wars toys.
I'd love to give most of them away to good causes, but I lack the contacts and energy reserves to find the right people at children's hospitals or some charity place.

Triple Zero came out today. wahoo. I'm getting it supposedly soon but amazon charged me too much for that order so I'm kinda peeved with them at the moment.

So You wrote a book...now what

Here's my brief opinion on the matter: Remember, I'm no expert on these things.
The answer to the question depends on your writing/ publishing goals. Self publishing is a valid option and shouldn't be overlooked, but if you're hoping to sell a gazillion copies you might want to try the longer, harder traditional publisher road.
No matter which option you choose, be sure to proof and reproof your book and have others proof it for you. Then, research carefully all options. There are tons of self publishers out there and most of them are crooks. A good starting place is predator and editors (google this, it'll come up right away). The first two agents I queried said that I was the world's best writer and they wanted to represent my book...well, good thing I found out they were crooked b/f I committed money, but many aren't so lucky so take notes, people.

Moonshine

Moonshine (2/17/2006)

Last night
We shared something special.
I know you wish you’d shared
That moment with your boyfriend not best
Friend and that’s all right.
You asked me for my thoughts
And I could not answer.
I was thinking about the moonshine
Streaming off of your eyes
And just how crazy he must be
To not see what I see.
If that boy doesn’t learn
How to treat a woman
One day, he’s going to hurt for it.
If only he’d have been here
Last night.
He’d have seen the moonshine
Coming off of your eyes
And he’d have never left
Your side.

Book Table

Wahoo, I finally got permission to run a book table in the student center of my college. So that's where you'll find me from 11-4 on Mon Feb 6 and Mon Feb 13. I'm hoping to get a nice poster made. Also, along with selling Heartfelt Cases, we'll be trying to raise money for Mercy Ships. It's a wonderful ministry that sends a fleet of ships with medical supplies and personel to 3rd world countries to bring heath aid. Anybody and everybody who prays should consider the hurting people not only here but elsewhere.
